SUMMARY:Browns Luncheon 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Annual St. Louis Browns Reunion Luncheon\nOn June 17th, 2026\nOnce more, our 42nd Annual St. Louis Browns Reunion Luncheon on Wednesday, June 17th will be a celebration of many great memories. Even though there are no longer any former Brownies with us in body, those 764 men who wore the orange and brown flannels will forever be with us in our celebrations and our memories.\nThe past several years, before a sold-out audiences we enjoyed the stories of Bill Veeck and Babe Ruth presented by their family members. This year we again have another incredibly special set of memories that brings the St. Louis Browns and the greatest baseball player ever to come out of St. Louis into another fun afternoon of laughter and remembrance. That player is Yogi Berra.\nYou have seen Yogi’s granddaughter, Lindsey Berra’s film, “It Ain’t Over,” currently shown on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Even though the Browns haven’t played a game in 73 years, it ain’t over for our Fan Club either. Lindsey is an outstanding speaker and carrier of her grandfather’s legacy torch. You can get a feel for her passion, knowledge, and humor from her many internet clips. She will be joined by her dad and Yogi’s son, Larry, as we spend the afternoon reminiscing about Yogi’s outstanding and unparalleled career. \nWhat can you say about a boy who grew up in St. Louis to become one of the game’s best – a player, manager, and coach. His resume includes 18 All-Star selections, three AL MVP awards, and a record 10 World Series championships. He managed in both leagues before being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972. Today many fans remember him and celebrate him through his humorous “Yogi-isms,” that made him a cultural icon whose legacy extends beyond the diamond.\nAnd that’s what we will celebrate – Yogi the man and his ties to the St. Louis Browns. Remember last year when we talked about Babe Ruth and the Cardinals Bill DeWitt Jr. told stories about the Babe’s final appearance in a baseball stadium at Sportsman’s Park on June 19, 1948? Well guess who was also on the field and in the pictures – Yogi! His Yankee team was playing the Browns that day. The stories continue throughout his epic career, Yogi had many encounters with our St. Louis Americans. We will hear about those too. \nWe will be celebrating these magic moments once again at the iconic Missouri Athletic Club. The luncheon is open to the public. Our policy continues to insure we give a discount to attendees who are paid Fan Club members. We work extremely hard to make this event accessible and affordable to all. The price of the tickets will be $50 for paid Fan Club members and $60 for their guests or other non-members attending. If you are not currently a paid member, you can join using the ticket order form. Parking will be provided in the MAC’s secure garage. For those who cannot make the trip to St. Louis we will offer a Zoom viewing of the event for $10. Feel free to invite friends and other family members. It should be another great baseball experience you will enjoy.\nYou can register and pay for your tickets either online at: https://membership.thestlbrowns.com/events-new/browns-luncheon-2026 or you can mail a check or credit card payment using the attached reservation sheet to the Fan Club’s post office box shown. Questions may be sent to the Browns Fan Club email at: stlbrowns@swbell.net. Your tickets will be available for you at the registration table on the day of the event. You will also receive a confirmation email notifying you your ticket purchase has been made.\nWhat makes this so special? There are no active and gathering Fan Clubs from any of the other relocated teams from baseball’s golden years in Boston, Brooklyn, New York, and Philadelphia. Our members meet and celebrate many times throughout each year, and we are not about to stop! The Brownie legacy lives on through you.\n \nEd Wheatley\nPresident – St. Louis Browns Historical Society & Fan Club\nSt. Louis Browns Annual Reunion Luncheon\nJune 17th, 2026\nMissouri Athletic Club\n405 Washington Ave. St. Louis, MO 63102\nDoors Open 11:00 – Program Begins 11:30\nReservations & Payment Form for Attendees:\nName:  ___________________________________________ Phone:  ___________________\nEmail:  ___________________________________________\nNumber of 2026 paid Browns Fan Club Members Attending = ______ times $50 = $________\nNumber of non-Fan Club Members Attending ………………….  = ______ times $60 = $________\nBrowns memberships purchased (see $ levels below) …………………….…….…………. = $________\nZoom Viewership of the Luncheon to watch the program is $10 ……………………..  = $________\n          Total Payment = $ ________\nA vegetarian alternate meal is available.  Number of Vegetarian meals =______\nPaying by (indicate below):\n____ Check – Check # ______\n____Credit Card\nName on card:  ________________________________________\nCard Number:  ________________________________________\nExpiration Date:  ____________    CVS #:  ___________________\nBilling Zip Code:  ____________\nMail form to: St. Louis Browns Historical Society & Fan Club\nP.O Box 6007\nChesterfield, MO 63006\nMembership Levels:\n$500.00 Hall of Fame Membership Includes:\n\nMembership ID card\nBi-Annual copies of Pop Flies Magazine  \nA bound Volume IV of Pop Flies through the Years\n#4 in the Browns vintage pennant collection\nInvitation to all Fan Club events:  Annual Luncheon, Quarterly Roundtables, etc. (may be no cost or on a fee basis, such as the luncheon)\nOne free admission to the Annual Reunion Luncheon\n\n$250.00 MVP Membership Includes:\n\nMembership ID card\nBi-Annual copies of Pop Flies Magazine \nA bound Volume V of Pop Flies through the Years\n#4 in the Browns vintage pennant collection\nInvitation to all Fan Club events:  Annual Luncheon, Quarterly Roundtables, etc. (may be no cost or on a fee basis, such as the luncheon)\n\n$100.00 Bleed Brown Membership Includes:\n\n\n\nMembership ID card\nBi-Annual copies of Pop Flies Magazine \nA bound Volume V of Pop Flies through the Years\n\n\n\n\nInvitation to all Fan Club events:  Annual Luncheon, Quarterly Roundtables, etc. (may be no cost or on a fee basis, such as the luncheon)\n\n$60.00 Gold Level Membership Includes:\n\n\n\nMembership ID card\nBi-Annual copies of Pop Flies Magazine \n#4 in the Browns vintage pennant collection\n\n\n\n\nInvitation to all Fan Club events:  Annual Luncheon, Quarterly Roundtables, etc. (may be no cost or on a fee basis, such as the luncheon)\n\nSilver Level Membership Includes:\n\nMembership ID card\nBi-Annual copies of Pop Flies Magazine \nInvitation to all Fan Club events:  Annual Luncheon, Quarterly Roundtables, etc. (may be no cost or on a fee basis, such as the luncheon)\n\n\n
